10 Nonexistent Women I Am In Love With
Huh?
I can hear you saying it, so don't deny it.
Let me explain.
We all have celebrities we have the hots for, but how do we develop the interest?
It's incredibly rare for me to just see a picture and say I totally dig the woman in question.
I usually wind up getting interested in these women because of who they PLAY.
Are they really like their characters?
Of course not.
Sometimes, these women are MILES apart from their characters.
So here's a list of Ten Characters that I fell for, and not necessarily the actress playing her.
10. Natalie Simon-As played by Alicia Witt in Urban Legend
She's smart, sophisticated, sexy as hell, and a maniac is trying to kill her.
She doesn't lose her cool, and survives to save the day.
That's hot, but she also displays a lot of compassion in between running for her life and finally turning the tables on the maniac. I know zilch about Alicia Witt, but I understand she's pretty smart and funny.
9. Miki Saegusa-As played by Megumi Odaka in various Godzilla movies
Go ahead and laugh, but she's sweet as can be, sexy, and handle giant, radioactive, monsters with ease, and still look adorable for dinner. She's also psychic, which could be a drawback.
I fell for her instantly, but I'm gonna need to learn Japanese. I can't translate what info I do have on the actress, but she's supposed to be very nice to the fans of the movies.
8. Lorelai Gilmore-As played by Lauren Graham in the Gilmore Girls
She's smart, knows what she wants, and isn't afraid to stand up for herself. She runs a successful business, deals with various lunacy there, has a daughter that would drive most people to drink, and still manages to be incredibly hot, and the kind of single mom that would NEVER have trouble finding a guy. Say, where is Stars Hollow anyways? I've seen very little on her in the gossip rags, which I'll just give Ms Graham credit for. Obviously she doesn't need the Hollywood BS.
7. Catalina The Maid-As played by Nadine Velaquez in My Name Is Earl
We don't know much about her yet, but what I've seen, I like. She's tough and loyal to her friends, and is incredibly sweet with the not-too-bright Randy, and seems to like him as much as he likes her. I fell for her in a heartbeat. The actress herself is also on my radar, 'cause she's freaking hot. Seems to be very down to earth, too.
6. Illsa Lund-As played by Ingrid Bergman in Casablanca
Oh...yeah. She walks in, and you're smitten. Don't deny it, you were, I was, and so was every other straight male on Planet Earth. And Rick lets her go? WTF??? Biiiig difference between the sweet and loving Illsa and Ingrid Bergman, the cheating, self absorbed pain in the ass who made lots of people miserable in Hollywood. Still one of the great beauties of all time, but waaay too much trouble to deal with.
5. Kay Lawrence-As played by Julia Adams in The Creature From The Black Lagoon
Woof! Certainly an...interesting movie to watch at a young age. "Wow, it's got a cool monster in it and....whoa....she makes me feel all funny inside!" Didn't you just wanna deck the two dweebs in the movie and take her off yourself? I know I did.
So did 87 zillion movie goers. Julia Adams still laughs about the (at the time) revealing swimsuit, and seems to be a good sport about all the guys that drooled on her.
4. Dahpne Moon-As played by Jane Leeves on Frasier
Accent, brains, and incredible legs? Well no wonder Niles fell for her, I did in the very first episode myself!! She's also funny and warm and sweet. Everything you want, nothing you don't! Ms. Leeves seems to be equally sweet in real life, but is happily married. Damn.
3. Julia Sullivan-As played by Drew Barrymore in The Wedding Singer
An absolute sweetheart! And stuck with a complete shithead of a fiancee. Admit it, you weren't just rooting for Robby to get the girl, you just wanted her to get away from the idiot no matter who she wound up with. The smile, the legs, irresistable!
Now...Ms. Barrymore has had her issues over her career, but seems like she'd be really difficult to get along with. Besides, I perfer to be the one with heavy partying background.
2. Willow Rosenberg-As played by Alyson Hannigan in Buffy
Fess up, y'all had a major crush on her. Don't lie, you did. We ALL did. Vulnerable at first, yet she got stronger and better every season (and switched sides, but c'mon, that just made her hotter), who didn't want her? Oddly, Ms. Hannigan couldn't be further aprt from Willow. Raunchy, with a truly wicked sense of humour, you realize how talented she was to portray Willow as being such a naive sweetheart.
1. Bridget Jones-As played by Renee Zellweger In Bridget Jones' Diary
She wears her heart on her sleeve, can barely handle life, and is a terrific klutz, but it just doesn't matter! Accent, incredibly soft eyes that show you every emotion, and so in need of a gallant knight to rescue her. I volunteered for the job. And developed an irrational desire to beat the crap out of Hugh Grant for what his CHARACTER does. She'll never be perfect, but I was smitten from the get-go. Ahem, and yes, I desire to beat the shit out of Kenney Chesney for fooling around on the perfectly lovely and charming Ms Zellweger, who from all accounts is every bit the sweetheart that Bridget is.
I'd marry her, but I'm sure she can do better than a self employed graphic artist with a two bedroom condo.
I can hear you saying it, so don't deny it.
